Landa Cope's book - initial thoughts Empty Landa Cope's book - initial thoughts

Unusual style and a bit "rough" in places but I found it v stimulating and echoes many of my own thoughts. Having read (in parts) the Jubilee Manifesto (www.jubilee-centre.org) (Michael Schluter et al) , I see a lot in common. I think the JM has done quite a lot of the work that Cope touches on, admittedly just using the Jubilee chapters as template only - as opposed to seeing the whole of the OT as a template.
The bit I liked the best was her challenge to those in business - "what does our community really need, how can we provide that and still make a profit" - p75.
Perhaps it should be qualified - if we only ever did what we "need" materially, the world would be a boring place indeed. We should also think of non-physical needs.
